Engineering Support
Our engineering support function is run through Ian Hague who is the companies Engineering Director.
Ian joined the Board as a Director on the 1st November 2013.
Ian brings to Sigma Squared Solutions a wealth of engineering experience which allows Sigma to support the companies it represents directly from the UK. Ian has been working with ourselves since we acquired the business in 2012.
This shows how valuable Sigma believes that the provision of quality engineering support is and a service our customers require and expect. Sigma can now meet the needs of our customers if they encounter problems with their equipment and can act quickly to ensure minimal downtime within their factories.
Ian has over 20 years of experience in the Paper & Paperboard Conversion industry with specialist experience in machinery used in this and the Corrugated sector. He has carried out repairs, upgrades and service activities across a wide range of corrugators and conversion equipment including Flexo Folder Gluers, Flexo Printers, Die-cutters (Rotary & Flatbed) and materials handling equipment.
Training has taken place with each of the companies that Sigma represents and Ian continues to gain knowledge and experience on the machines we supply to our customers. This enables us to offer machinery service plans, installation support, relocation of equipment & planned maintenance interventions.
